Weekdays, join us for romantic waterfront dining by celebrated Chef Steve Rhee. On weekends kicking off Friday nights, Mykonos comes to Miami with live DJ and a party atmosphere featuring a festive soundtrack, twirling napkins, and dancing that will make you say “opa!” Position Overview: Kiki on the River is seeking a motivated and experienced Daytime Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, a strong leadership presence, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. The Daytime Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of Kiki on the River during daytime hours. This includes managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, maintaining high-quality service standards, and optimizing profitability. Key Responsibilities: Staff Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of restaurant staff. Schedule and manage shifts to ensure adequate staffing levels during daytime hours. Train new employees and provide ongoing training for existing staff to maintain high service standards. Customer Service: Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally. Monitor the dining area to ensure a pleasant and comfortable dining experience for guests. Handle reservations and seating arrangements efficiently. Operational Management: Oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures. Monitor food and beverage quality to ensure consistency and compliance with established standards. Manage inventory and order supplies as needed to maintain optimal stock levels. Financial Management: Monitor and control restaurant expenses to optimize profitability. Prepare daily sales reports and reconcile cash registers. Implement cost-control measures to minimize wastage and maximize efficiency. Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and sanitation standards. Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any potential hazards or issues. Marketing and Promotions: Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies to attract more customers during daytime hours. Collaborate with the marketing team to promote special events, promotions, or new menu items. Requirements: Previous experience in restaurant management or a similar role. Strong leadership and communication skills. Excellent customer service skills. Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including inventory management and cost control. Familiarity with health and safety regulations. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Ability to multitask and work well under pressure. Positive attitude and a passion for hospitality. Team player with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
